You will develop and enforce cybersecurity architecture, standards, and policies aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA; provide risk and vulnerability guidance; mentor junior engineers; and collaborate with IT, DevOps, and cloud teams to implement resilient, compliant

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity engineering in government environments.
• 2+ years as a cybersecurity engineer.
• 2+ years with FedRAMP hybrid on‑prem and cloud stacks.
• CISSP certification.
• Hands-on with architecture, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal cybersecurity engineer for enterprise systems.
• Lead transition projects migrating on‑prem systems to hybrid cloud while maintaining security.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity architecture, standards, and policies (FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA).
• Provide guidance on risk assessment, vulnerability management, and mitigations.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and cloud teams to implement secure designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews, audits, assessments.
