Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Head of Cyber Missions to build and lead our cyber mission practice from the ground up. You will identify consequential cyber problems, craft first-principles solutions, and convert opportunities into large, executable mission programs.

Reporting to the CEO, you will help found TRM’s Mission Delivery organization and collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to drive enduring capabilities that disrupt cybercrime and strengthen national cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of meaningful cyber experience with credibility as a genuine expert.
• Owned complex engagements of roughly $10M+ and can detail outcomes, pricing, staffing.
• Ability to translate mission outcomes into delivery plans with staffing, tech, and processes.
• Founder-like drive to create impact across teams and programs.
• Experience selling to or operating within the U.S. government; federal contracting familiarity preferred.
• Technical fluency to understand TRM’s tech and collaborate with product, data, and AI teams.
• Exceptional executive communication to explain offerings and write customer materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop TRM’s cyber mission perspective and publish thought leadership.
• Source and qualify opportunities with national cyber-resilience agencies and operators; manage sales cycles 6–18 months.
• Shape and scope mission programs with clients, define outcomes, scope, and delivery model.
• Build the commercial structure across fixed-price, time-and-materials, milestones, and hybrid models.
• Launch new engagements and transition to operating mode with KPIs.
• Build the practice for repeatable models, recruit talent, influence product/roadmaps.
