Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Director of Operations, Critical Infrastructure, to lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and building systems across OCI data center campuses in Chicago. You will own day-to-day operations, risk management, maintenance performance, and leadership across sites to sustain uptime and high availability.

This onsite role requires strong leadership of site teams, collaboration with Engineering and Reliability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical operations and leadership.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and data center operations.
• Experience managing operational risk and incident response in uptime-critical environments.
• Proven ability to lead managers, technical teams, and vendors in 24/7 operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities, Operations, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site or regional operations teams responsible for critical infrastructure.
• Own operational readiness, maintenance, and incident response performance.
• Enforce SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs across campuses to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, and site-support functions to align activities.
• Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
