Job summary

Atlas in New York or San Francisco is seeking a Head of Credit to manage credit risk decisions, develop systems for line sizing, and streamline application processes. You will work directly with engineering and finance to automate and enhance credit assessments for high-net-worth clients.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in credit risk management, proficiency in SQL, and a strong understanding of charge card economics. This is an excellent opportunity to lead in a dynamic financial environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in credit risk, ideally starting at a major issuer.
• Experience in building models and analyzing data independently.
• Understanding of charge card economics and underwriting affluent segments.

Responsibilities

• Own line sizing end to end, automating dynamic limits.
• Manage the application and onboarding pipeline with engineering.
• Build the underwriting engine using various data sources.
• Manage credit facility operations and lender reporting.
• Oversee collections and loss mitigation strategies.
• Develop loss forecasting and CECL models.
• Monitor the portfolio and maintain dashboards for risk visibility.
