Job summary

Kindredventures is looking for a Head of Credit based in San Francisco or New York. This role involves managing credit risk for high-net-worth individuals and ensuring efficient credit decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in credit risk management, strong SQL and analytical skills, and an understanding of charge card economics. You will work closely with the finance team to develop strategies and systems that enhance credit services for our affluent clientele.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in credit risk, ideally at a major issuer.
• Comfortable with SQL and data analysis in Python or R.
• Expertise in charge card economics and underwriting.
• Experience with credit facilities and lender relations.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Own line sizing and build dynamic credit limits.
• Enhance application and onboarding processes.
• Develop underwriting engine for business credit.
• Manage credit facilities and optimize cash flows.
• Oversee collections and loss mitigation strategies.
• Build and monitor forecasting models for risk.
