Job summary

Atlanticus in Atlanta is seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate data sources, develop underwriting strategies, and monitor risk with statistical methods. You’ll collaborate with Analytics, Risk, and Business Development to deliver timely insights and client-ready solutions.

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in credit card risk is required; proficiency in SAS/SQL with Tableau, Python or R, and strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of Credit Card Industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of credit scoring, underwriting, and risk management.
• Proficiency with SAS/SQL and analytical tools to generate reports and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver profitable growth through development of new credit strategies and optimization of existing ones.
• Develop and monitor KPI dashboards and loss forecasting models.
• Collaborate with Risk, Marketing, and Development teams to drive high-impact projects.
• Communicate strategies and results to management and stakeholders.
