Job summary

Providence Community Health seeks a vigilant Compliance and Risk Officer to lead the enterprise-wide programs for compliance, privacy, safety, and risk reduction. You will shape policies, supervise investigations, and report to the Board on ethics, safety, and regulatory oversight.

The role partners with leadership across departments to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, including FTCA risk management and external regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of healthcare compliance, risk management, privacy, auditing, or related operations.
• Experience in Federally Qualified Health Center or community health setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy, regulatory requirements and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate compliance program and policies to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.
• Lead HIPAA privacy program, including training, monitoring, and investigations of breaches.
• Direct enterprise risk management and patient safety initiatives across the organization.
• Coordinate investigations, audits, reporting, and corrective actions with leadership.
• Present findings to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
