Job summary

Salient Group is creating its U.S. presence and seeking an experienced compliance leader to build and run the day-to-day U.S. compliance program.

You will take ownership of the registration with NFA, supervise ongoing compliance activities, and act as the main contact for regulators including NFA, the CFTC and the guarantor FCM. The role requires Series 3 eligibility, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to operate in a fast-scaling exchange environment while ensuring strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Requires active Series 3 registration and ability to register as AP, with a clean regulatory record.
• Experience in compliance, registration or registered roles at an FCM, IB, CTA/CPO or exchange; regulated environment preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English to draft policies and communicate with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Own and build the U.S. compliance program from scratch, including registration with NFA and ongoing surveillance.
• Serve as primary contact for NFA, CFTC and the guarantor FCM; manage examinations and responses.
• Develop and update supervisory procedures, AML program, cybersecurity and business continuity plans; oversee staff training and communications with regulators.
