Job summary

Webot US is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to own the U.S. regulatory perimeter for its digital-asset exchange business and related activities under federal and state law.

The CCO will design regulatory strategy, secure licenses, and run a compliant program ready for regulator examinations. This builder/leadership role demands mapping products to regimes, leading license applications, and operating the program day to day from Princeton, NJ.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of compliance or legal experience in U.S. financial services.
• 5+ years in a CCO, Deputy CCO or head-of-compliance role.
• Hands-on SEC/FINRA and CFTC/NFA experience.
• Deep working knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and state licensing.
• Proven license/registration applications and regulatory exam experience.
• Experience building compliance teams and reporting to boards.
• J.D. or bachelor’s degree in law/finance.
• Authorized to work in the United States; eligible to work from Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead the US crypto exchange compliance program end-to-end.
• Maintain AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, SAR/CTR filing, Travel Rule compliance.
• Oversee OFAC screening, wallet screening and blockchain analytics.
• Own asset listing/delisting governance and token classification.
• Manage customer asset custody, disclosures and marketing review.
• Lead MSB registrations and state licensing; manage regulatory engagements.
