ServiceNet is seeking a Senior Vice President of Community Relations in Northampton, MA to join the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead government relations, community engagement, and external communications across Western Massachusetts to advance the organization’s mission and priorities.

You will oversee the Communications & Development teams, coordinate with the CEO, and partner with stakeholders to strengthen visibility, messaging, fundraising, and crisis communications while upholding

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, communications, political science, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience in government relations, public affairs, and community engagement in non-profit health and human services.
• Established relationships with Massachusetts municipal and state officials preferred.
• Demonstrated success in legislative advocacy, coalition-building, and strategic communications.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, including writing and public speaking.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams and represent the organization with professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, and implement the government relations strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and sustain relationships with municipal, state, and federal officials across Western Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with trade associations and coalitions to advance supportive legislation.
• Monitor and advocate for policy and funding affecting mental health and human services.
• Prepare policy briefs, testimony, and communications for decisionmakers.
• Lead external communications strategies and ensure alignment with mission and reputation.
• Oversee community engagement and visibility across four Western Massachusetts counties.
