ServiceNet seeks a Senior Vice President of Community Relations in Northampton, MA. This full-time role leads government affairs, community relations, and communications to advance the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities include shaping policy advocacy, building cross-sector partnerships, and guiding external messaging and fundraising strategies. A strong MA network and decades-long leadership experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years leadership in government/public affairs.
• Strong relationships with MA municipal/state officials preferred.
• Proven advocacy, coalition-building, and communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to lead teams and manage complex stakeholder networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement government relations strategy aligned with goals.
• Build and sustain relationships with officials at municipal, state, and federal levels across Western MA.
• Collaborate with associations and coalitions to advance policy that supports services.
• Oversee communications and development to reflect organizational priorities.
