Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned Client Experience Director to lead HDR’s enterprise‑wide client experience program, aligning strategy with the company’s direction and a shared commitment to client outcomes.

You will partner with leadership across business groups to embed client‑centered behaviors, translate insights into strategic actions, and drive continuous improvement, loyalty, and growth for HDR’s diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, organizational leadership, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred
• Experience leading large cross‑functional strategic programs across complex organizations
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills
• Ability to translate client insights into strategic and operational improvements
• Ability to work within a globally matrixed firm with dispersed teams

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide client experience program and governance
• Act as enterprise advocate for Voice of the Client and embed client perspectives
• Drive cross-functional initiatives translating feedback into strategy and actions
• Advance a client-centric culture and strengthen client relationships
• Oversee Client Feedback System, metrics, and actionable recommendations
• Develop tools and standards to reinforce client experience capabilities across HDR
