Job summary

Corgi is seeking a Senior Claims Executive to lead the claims organization across offices and remote locations. You will set strategy, oversee reserving quality, and drive outcomes for multiple lines, including liability and property.

You will partner with underwriting and senior leadership to shape products and risk strategies. You will build and develop a high-performing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage settlements and large claims within authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in casualty and property claims.
• Experience with multi-line claims: Liability, Property, Workers' Comp.
• Significant casualty expertise.
• Results oriented and customer service focused.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own overall management of the claims department, including staff located in offices and remote locations.
• Develop and coach all claims staff.
• Set vision, goals, and direction for the department.
• Participate in divisional meetings and training.
• Partner with underwriting to provide claims insights.
• Support new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership and direction to the department.
• Monitor data to ensure quality of reserving and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and company policies.
• Cultivate a strong claims culture and high employee engagement.
• Advise on resolution of claims and authority over settlements.
• Drive process improvements through technology and AI.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to meet budgets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
