Job summary

Compass Health Center in Chicago is seeking a Medical Director for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care and leading strategic initiatives across the Illinois U18 system, ensuring the best treatment for vulnerable patients.

Ideal candidates are MD or DO and should possess over 6 years of post-residency experience, effective mentoring skills, and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT. The position offers strong leadership opportunities and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years post-residency or fellowship experience; prior medical or executive management experience strongly preferred.
• Skilled in psychopharmacology and the evaluation and treatment of mental illness.
• Excellent communication and executive functioning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for U18 services.
• Mentor and coach U18 psychiatry providers.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new U18 providers.
• Provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents enrolled in PHP and IOP.
