Job summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) in Peoria, IL. This role focuses on developing outpatient and community-based clinical services for children, adolescents, and families within the UICOMP system.

The successful candidate will supervise residents and medical students, contribute to education, scholarship, and outreach, and help build a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship

Qualifications

• MD or DO graduate from an LCME/AACOM-accredited medical school.
• Graduate of an ACGME-approved child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Illinois.
• ABPN board-certified in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and expansion of child and adolescent psychiatric services.
• Supervision and teaching of general psychiatry residents and medical students.
• Function as a University faculty member, performing duties appropriate to academic rank.
• Supporting development of an ACGME-accredited child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and related administration, teaching, scholarship, and recruitment.
