About the Role:

As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will supervise the team responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Track staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
2. Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
3. Develop and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
4. Ensure technicians have the necessary information and materials to complete work efficiently and with high quality.
5. Estimate material and labor costs for work orders, maintenance activities, systems, and projects.
6. Maintain and manage budgets for facilities maintenance.
7. Respond to emergencies and seek help when needed.
8. Apply advanced knowledge to improve methods and achieve departmental objectives.
