Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Chief Architect for Core Business Services. Shape architectural vision across licensing, business integrations, software delivery, and usage analytics.

Lead across multiple engineering teams to deliver a cohesive, scalable, secure platform, aligning with business objectives and technology strategy. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to drive platform modernization, reduce technical debt, and promote reusable components

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
Experience defining and evolving architecture for complex software platforms across multiple teams.
Expertise in cloud-native and hybrid architectures, distributed systems, APIs, security, and platform engineering.
Strong strategic thinking balancing long-term direction with pragmatic delivery.
Ability to mentor architects and senior engineers to foster excellence.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate the architectural vision, technical direction, and roadmap for Core Business Services.
Drive architectural consistency across engineering teams with principled standards and guidelines.
Lead architecture of platform capabilities, APIs, and shared services for scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, cross-team initiatives, and mentoring of leaders.
Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation while ensuring sustainability and operational excellence.
Drive platform modernization by reducing technical debt and promoting reusable components.
Align architectural decisions with customer needs, product strategy, and business objectives.
Represent Core Business Services in cross-organizational architecture forums and engage with stakeholders.
