North American Partners in Anesthesia (Virginia), LLC is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible anesthesiologist to lead anesthesia services for OrthoVirginia Shrader in Richmond, VA. The role includes directing and coordinating department activities, preoperative assessment, patient consent, and intraoperative anesthesia management across a growing outpatient program.

The comprehensive benefits package accompanies a total rewards salary of $500K with a $30K chief stipend and a $100K sign-on

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

Responsabilités

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

OrthoVirgina is the largest Orthopedic group in Virginia, employing over 140 physicians at 35 locations across the state. OrthoVirginia’s Shrader Road practice includes some of the top orthopedic doctors in Richmond, VA, as well as integrated physical therapy and an on-site office operatory.

• Routine outpatient orthopedics, with a focus of expanding a new outpatient total joint program including shoulders, knees, and hips.
