Job summary

GA Telesis Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Chief Quality Control Inspector to lead the quality control functions for the repair station, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with FAA standards.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, MRO Services, the role oversees inspection operations, training, and coordination of ADs and service bulletins to sustain GA Telesis's high-quality aerospace services.

Qualifications

• Must hold 14 CFR Part 65 / A&P certification.
• Knowledge of FAA standards and airworthiness requirements.
• Strong inspection methods, practices, and tools used to determine compliance.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Maintain record entries required by FAA regulations §43.9 or §43.11.
• Supervise all inspection functions and guide junior inspectors.
• Ensure maintenance/alterations comply with approved data and FAA standards.
• Develop and manage processes to ensure airworthiness of approved articles.
• Perform preliminary inspections, functional testing, in-process and final inspections.
• Examine all contracted materials to ensure quality standards.
• Use OEM-recommended tools and test apparatus to verify work.
• Maintain compliance with ADs, FARs and service bulletins.
• Conduct visual inspections to determine extent of damages prior to maintenance/alteration.
• Ensure team performs maintenance and alterations with high quality standards.
