Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, seeks a technology executive to lead software engineering and advance AI strategy across the product and platform portfolio. You will build high‑performing teams, execute the technology roadmap, and drive AI‑first innovation across the AI‑DLC and product lines.

The role requires 15+ years in tech with strong leadership, modernization experience, and deep expertise in modern software practices, security, and enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience including 8+ years in software engineering leadership
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles leading large software engineering organizations
• Experience with EHR/healthcare software environments is a plus
• Proven success in modernization and software platform transformations
• Deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture
• Experience implementing AI and machine learning capabilities in enterprise products and AI-DLC workflows
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI governance, and AI orchestration

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization delivering product, technology evolution, and security outcomes
• Improve delivery predictability, productivity, software quality, resiliency, and cost efficiency
• Translate business strategy into executable technology priorities and investment decisions
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure progress and impact of AI adoption
• Drive AI-first transformation across products and AI-DLC
• Oversee planning, governance, risks, and resource allocation for strategic tech initiatives
• Stay current on industry advancements in AI, models, and orchestration
