Qualifications

• Advanced degree required with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE security clearance (U.S. Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Lead research and applied engineering strategies combining HPC, scientific software, AI, and agentic systems to accelerate nuclear energy innovation.
• Mentor R&D and AS&E staff and design/implement R&D/AS&E strategies.
• Drive AI capabilities development, multi-agent orchestration, and integration of codes, models, data, and experiments into secure workflows.
• Pursue direct funding via DOE programs, LDRD, and other sponsors.
• Collaborate with universities, industry, national labs, and federal partners to advance AI-enabled science and workforce development.
