Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Managing Director for Advisor Services Group to lead a large, multi-site service organization. The role focuses on transforming service delivery, driving digital adoption, and building strong leadership teams to support a broad advisor network.

The ideal candidate will translate strategy into clear priorities, manage risk with disciplined governance, and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in financial services or regulated client-facing environments.
• Ability to lead large teams through change with strong client outcomes.
• Experience leading through managers and senior leaders with accountability.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear priorities, plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong judgment and decision-making, including risk assessment and trade-offs.
• Experience in regulated environments with controls and compliance obligations.
• Strong executive presence and communication across functions.
• Series 7, 63, 9/10, or 24 required or to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, multi-site advisor service organization across ASG Network and ASG Teams.
• Advance the service model to be proactive, digitally enabled and scalable.
• Translate strategy into clear priorities and operating rhythms.
• Build strong leadership teams and develop talent across the organization.
• Drive alignment across enterprise stakeholders and business partners.
• Oversee capacity planning and process improvement initiatives.
