Job summary

The University of Indianapolis seeks a bold, entrepreneurial advancement leader to continue a momentum of fundraising success and broaden philanthropic impact on campus and in the community.

Reporting to the President, this role spends significant time engaging donors, cultivating relationships, and soliciting gifts while traveling locally, regionally, and nationally to expand UIndy’s visibility and resources.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in higher education or major non-profit advancement.
• Proven track record of securing seven-figure gifts from donors.
• Experience working with senior leadership to close major solicitations.

Responsibilities

• Front-line fundraising & major gifts: build and manage a portfolio of seven-figure gifts.
• Senior leadership collaboration with Presidents, Deans, and executives.
• Board & Trustee engagement: liaise with Trustees on cultivation and stewardship.
