Job summary

Indiana Wesleyan University seeks a visionary Vice President for University Advancement to serve as chief advancement officer and member of the President’s Cabinet. You will lead fundraising, donor engagement, alumni and constituent relations, and advancement operations to advance IWU’s mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated vital Christian faith and commitment and alignment with IWU mission.
• Significant leadership experience in advancement, philanthropy, or related fields.
• Proven success securing major and principal gifts.
• Experience leading comprehensive fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and accountability for a comprehensive advancement program aligned with IWU’s mission, values, and strategic plan.
• Serve on the President’s Cabinet and advise on philanthropy, engagement, communications, and external relations.
• Develop annual and long-range advancement plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Foster a culture of philanthropy and engage faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and friends.
• Lead a multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign and secure transformational investments.
• Partner with the President and Board to develop donor strategies and manage stewardship programs.
• Oversee advancement services, including CRM management, donor analytics, and reporting.
• Build and lead a collaborative advancement team with strong policies and performance measures.
