Job summary
Our Lady of the Lake University seeks a visionary Vice President for Advancement to lead all fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This executive will design multi-channel campaigns, manage major gifts portfolios, and build robust government and foundation relations.
The role requires strategic foresight and a commitment to OLLU’s Catholic identity and HSI designation. The VP will partner with the President and Board, develop annual and long-range plans, and drive performance metrics
Qualifications
- Proven senior leadership in advancement and fundraising.
- Experience with major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and government/state grants.
- Strong donor engagement, portfolio management, and board partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as chief fundraising strategist and lead advancement operations.
- Personally manage a portfolio of high-capacity major gift prospects.
- Lead campaign readiness assessment and strategy development.
- Build and nurture government, corporate, and foundation relations.
- Activate CDP network and engage trustees, alumni, and community partners.
- Oversee CRM systems implementation, data governance, and analytics.
- Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing advancement team.
