Job summary

YWCA North Central Indiana Inc is seeking an executive-level leader to join a strong team of professionals. The Vice President of Advancement will plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of resource development and promotion, including a strong fundraising program, cultivating supporters, and directing major fundraising activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or combined education/experience in Business, Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy, Communications or related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience preferred in development, fundraising or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communications with ability to engage diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a structured fundraising program to support the mission through diversified funding resources.
• Cultivate and steward donors; engage individual and institutional supporters.
• Lead major fundraising activities, grants oversight and donor communications.
• Supervise Advancement and Communications staff and coordinate with the Board Advancement Committee.
• Prepare annual development plan with strategies, tactics, budgets and measurements.
