Job summary

Springs Rescue Mission seeks an experienced, Christ-centered Chief Administrative Officer to lead administrative operations and advance our mission of transforming lives through faith, compassion, and accountability.

The on-site CAO will oversee finance, human resources, facilities, property, technology, compliance, and enterprise systems; build capable teams, establish rhythms and ownership; and steward donor trust while reporting to the President/CEO on a 24/7 campus.

Qualifications

• A mature follower of Jesus who can affirm SRM’s Statement of Faith and lead in a manner consistent with our mission and culture.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership across multiple administrative or operating functions.
• Financially literate in nonprofit realities: statements, budgets, cash, controls, audits, restricted funds, and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance, HR, Facilities, Capital Projects, Property and Asset Management, Data and Business Systems, and Enterprise Compliance.
• Translate strategy into administrative priorities, owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Operating rhythms, dashboards, and decision rights that keep work moving without sending routine issues to the CEO.
• Oversee Controller and Finance team, including any fractional or outsourced CFO support.
• Owns facilities and housing property, capital projects, and related vendor/lender obligations.
• Develop workforce systems with clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure data, technology and business systems are usable by leaders.
• Maintain a working compliance calendar with owners and due dates.
• Partner with Program Operations and Advancement without absorbing their work.
• Steward donor trust and ensure financial integrity and revenue accountability.
