Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly team member for the deli department in Pittsboro, NC. You will deliver outstanding guest service, help maintain deli quality, and support sanitation and safety standards.

You’ll assist with product prep, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service while performing PA announcements as needed. Strong communication and a willingness to learn multiple tasks are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and adapt.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.

Responsibilities

• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
