8Fleet, Inc. is hiring an Operations Coordinator in Chicago to manage driver coverage, vehicle readiness, and on-site operations for a fast-paced, launch-focused market.

This on-site role supports a 24/7 operation and offers a path to supervisor, analyst, and management roles as the market grows. You will work closely with market leadership to build processes, track daily metrics, and ensure timely communications with drivers, supervisors, and fleet teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in operations, dispatch, logistics, fleet, transportation or another fast-moving operations environment.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Comfort with data and spreadsheet tools to guide decisions.
• Clear, calm communication with drivers, teammates and leadership.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operation including odd hours.

Responsibilities

• Own Daily Coverage: build and manage driver schedules and shift coverage.
• Keep Vehicles on the Road: coordinate vehicle assignments and handoffs.
• Be the Operational Hub: serve as first point of contact for day-to-day issues.
• Run the Numbers: track daily metrics and report updates to leadership.
• Fix What Slows Us Down: document processes and implement improvements.
• Support the Launch: assist onboarding and site needs for Chicago market.
