Job summary

Stony Brook Medicine in New York seeks a Clinical Radiologist proficient in diagnostic radiology with Thoracic Imaging expertise, including CT, MR, US and radiographs. Qualifications

  • MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree.
  • Licensed, or eligible for licensure in New York State.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, with training or experience in Thoracic Imaging (CT, MR, US and Radiographs).
  • Fellowship or equivalent training in Thoracic Imaging or related field (completed or near completion).

Responsibilities

Job description

General Responsibilities

Clinical Radiologist must be proficient in diagnostic radiology, Thoracic Imaging including CT, MR, US and Radiographs.

Flexible Schedule to include on-site and remote shifts in accordance with University policies.

Open to new or recent graduates.

Faculty Appointment Eligibility

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree
  • Licensed, or, eligible for licensure in New York State
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, Training or experience in Thoracic Imaging including CT, MR, US and Radiographs
  • Completed/soon to complete a Fellowship or equivalent training in Thoracic Imaging or equivalent
Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
