  • Fellowship in Musculoskeletal imaging or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Musculoskeletal imaging including CT, MR, Ultrasound, Radiography and image-guided MSK procedures.

Job description

The Renaissance School of Medicine, Stony Brook University, is recruiting Radiologists across multiple specialties.

General Responsibilities

Clinical Radiologist must be proficient in Musculoskeletal imaging including CT, MR, Ultrasound, Radiography, and image-guided MSK procedures to join a busy academic university hospital practice and Level 1 trauma center. Teaching, research, and leadership opportunities available. The department has both a radiology residency and musculoskeletal radiology fellowship. Flexible schedule to include on-site and remote shifts in accordance with University policies.

Open to new or recent graduates. Leadership opportunities available.

Faculty Appointment Eligibility

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree
  • Licensed, or, eligible for licensure in New York State
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, Competency in all aspects of MSK imaging
  • Completed/soon to complete a Fellowship or equivalent training in Musculoskeletal imaging or equivalent.
Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
