Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound activities and meet quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. The role handles receiving inbound freight and outbound shipping tasks.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying inbound goods, using the Manhattan WMS, and cross-training across inbound functions. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years inbound warehouse experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Good written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Aptitude to learn all inbound functions successfully in order to be fully cross-trained.
• Able and willing to work overtime as dictated by the business.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a PIT or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
• A part of the inbound operations team involved with receiving/verification of inbound freight.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
