Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Ops Associate II for first shift to support inbound receiving and outbound shipping. You will help ensure quality, safety and productivity standards are met while handling inbound products and coordinating with the Warehouse Supervisor.

The role requires 1–2 years of inbound warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years inbound warehouse experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Good written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred.
• Aptitude to learn all inbound functions successfully in order to be fully cross-trained.
• Able and willing to work overtime as dictated by the business.
• Willing to work in any other tasks in the warehouse (picking, packing, sweeping, etc.).
• Able to work well under pressure of deadlines and able to accomplish minor tasks with minimal supervision and assistance.
• Track record of having good work ethics and being able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail oriented and capable of reading complex set of numbers and distinguish difference in similar alphanumeric sets of characters and able to do bias math operations without errors.
• Able to maintain concentration on tasks at hand while working in medium to high levels of noise coming from equipment and warehouse environment in general

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound freight using a scanner.
• Use Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• Store refrigerated products per regulations if handling specialty items.
