Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a local Distribution Center in Forest, VA to hire Cherry Picker Operator (Forklift) for 2nd shift. The role involves operating forklifts up to 35-40 ft with harness, and standing for long periods.

Base pay is $18 per hour, with a temporary $3 per hour boost from 11/22 to 12/19; typical range $18–$19 per hour. Requirements include at least 1 year forklift experience, current certification, ability to pass drug test and background check, and willingness to work overtime

• Recent unexpired certification required.
• Able to work at heights up to 35-40 ft with full body harness.
• Able to pass drug test and background check.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with computers/RF scanners preferred.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Payrate & Shift Details

• *ADDITIONAL $3 (EXTRA) PER HOUR FROM 11/22 TO 12/19*

2nd Shift

2nd Shift - $18 per hour Availability from 3:30pm to 1:30am (8-10 hour shifts based on business needs).

Monday-Friday base schedule, weekends/overtime as needed.

Requirements

• MUST have at least 1 year of experience with Forklift roles
• MUST have recent unexpired Certification (If you had one but is expired, please reach out to us regarding details)
• MUST have no fear of heights, these forklifts go 35-40 ft in the air! (Full body Harness required)
• MUST be able to pass Drug Test & Background check
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience with computers/RF Scanners preferred
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods for entire shift
• Ability to push, twist, grab, and lift up to 50lbs

Pay Details

$18.00 to $19.00 per hour
