Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Colorado Springs and Pueblo is seeking an experienced Admixture Technician to support chemotherapy preparation and medication admixtures. The role involves accurate compounding, verification, and safe handling under physician supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of pharmacy experience with IV skills, and IV certification preferred. Mileage reimbursement is provided along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience with IV skills are required.
• IV certification preferred; Certified Pharmacy Technician or State Board certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a physician.
• Checks orders for completeness and for insurance approval before admixing.
• Maintains drug information and MSDS sheets and logs; keeps temperature and inventory logs.
• Disposes of materials properly and maintains cleanliness in the admixture area.
• Assists with labeling, billing, and data entry in pharmacy systems.
