Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's leading cancer care provider, seeks an experienced Admix Technician to support two Colorado Springs and Pueblo locations. This role includes mileage reimbursement and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Admix Technician will prepare and verify chemotherapy admixtures under supervision, ensure orders are complete, maintain drug information, and manage inventory and billing in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in a pharmacy with IV skills.
• IV certification preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification or State Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a physician.
• Checks all orders for completeness of information.
• Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Calculates correct dosage volumes and maintains drug records.
• Maintains temperature logs and quality assurance activities.
• Manages inventory and prints labels and billing.
