Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm). The role focuses on maintaining accurate chemical processes essential to our finishing operations. Strong interest in chemistry, math aptitude, and good communication are valued as training is available.

Responsibilities include pH adjustments, sampling, and analytical work with FAAS. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement within a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or coursework in chemistry is preferred
• Strong math aptitude and excellent written/spoken communication are important
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the lab and related processes

Responsibilities

• Adjust pH levels for processes
• Transfer chemical solutions per EPA/state regulations
• Perform daily chemical sampling and analysis
• Conduct FAAS analyses and titrations with precision
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instrumentation
• Keep the laboratory organized and compliant with safety rules
