Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a 3rd shift Lab Technician to perform daily chemical analyses, adjustments, and maintenance of instrumentation. Responsibilities include chemical preparation, OSH compliance, and accurate data recording.

This position offers comprehensive benefits and a shift differential for the 11PM–7AM schedule. Prior lab experience is a plus, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Strong math aptitude needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjust pH levels for processes and maintain control parameters.
• Dump and replenish chemical and rinse tanks as needed.
• Monitor waste treatment system and ensure OSH compliance.
• Perform daily chemical sampling and analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and storage areas.
• Operate forklift and move materials as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsible for daily chemical analysis and adds, chemical makeup’s, maintenance, quality testing, paint (OSH) and calibration of instrumentation and equipment, transportation of chemicals to appropriate areas, cleaning and organizing chemical storage areas and tank maintenance duties.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Responsible for all pH adjustments.
• Executes the dumping and replenishing of chemical and rinse tanks.
• Monitoring waste treatment system. (OSH)
• Daily chemical sampling and analysis.
• Light Environmental Management
• Use of statistical data control required for monitoring and improving chemical processes.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals/supplies and Paint (OSH).
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of laboratory.
• Inventory and organization of process chemicals, storage areas and Paint.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
