Job summary

Light Metals Coloring Co., Inc. is seeking a Chemical Lab Technician to support finishing processes by collecting process control samples, analyzing results, and adjusting chemical parameters. This is a 3 month term position with potential extension.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of lab experience in manufacturing, a chemistry or microbiology background, and proficiency in English. Applicants must meet physical requirements and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in lab functions within manufacturing environments and with chemical finishing processes and equipment.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Be proficient in written and oral English.

Chemical Lab Technician Role Summary

Description

The Lab Technician performs process control sample collection, sample analysis, and modification of chemical parameters to support finishing processes throughout production. This is a 3 month term position with the possibility of extension.

Major Role Responsibilities and Expectations

1. Provide process control sample collection according to defined plan and schedule from production tanks.


2. Analyze samples and take corrective action as required.


3. Modify chemical parameters and calibrations on equipment as necessary.


4. Maintain labware and equipment for accurate results.


5. Have timely and consistent attendance.


6. Be in uniform.


7. Successfully use and comply with all PPE requirements.

Requirements
