Qualifications

• BA/BS in Medical Technology with NAACLS-accredited clinical internship.
• Two years' experience as a certified technologist in an accredited lab.
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent and Montana State CLS Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical chemistry, QC, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily functions of the Chemistry Department and oversee testing activities.
• Develop and review departmental procedures and quality controls.
• Oversee proficiency testing and staff training programs.
• Ensure instrument calibration, maintenance, and validation of new methods.
• Interpret complex chemistry results and communicate with providers and staff.
