Job summary

Bio-Techne is hiring for a lab-based manufacturing role in California. The position focuses on processing and formulation of controls, calibrators, and working solutions to ensure quality products meet schedules.

You will work in a GMP/GLP setting with emphasis on accurate record keeping and adherence to procedures. The candidate should have a chemistry/biochemistry background with 0–2 years of related experience and be capable of handling analytical instrumentation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Science, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of work experience in In Vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical or related industry is required.
• Ability to work in GMP/GLP environments.
• Familiarity with QSR and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products using approved procedures and maintain detailed and accurate records.
• Perform in-process analysis and adjust to bring analytes into specification.
• Analyze products, stock solutions, and raw materials using automated and manual instrumentation.
• Verify instrumentation performance and perform maintenance as needed.
• Measure quantities accurately using volumetric and gravimetric methods.
• Contribute to creating or updating work instructions, QCRs, SOPs and change controls.
• Perform processing steps such as centrifugation, diafiltration, filtration, and column separation.
• Perform final release testing.
• Carry out aseptic procedures such as aliquoting, filtration, and microbial plating.
• Assist in increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of laboratory equipment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and keep clear records.
• Take on additional duties as required.
