Job summary

BioTalent is seeking a qualified professional to lead and coordinate internal and contract laboratory testing activities in our California QC group. The role includes supervising and training team members, monitoring shipments and deadlines, and ensuring cGMP compliance across cross-functional projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a scientific field, plus 4+ years in the life sciences sector, with supervisory experience and strong report-writing abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• Preferably 1 year of life sciences industry experience in QC or an analytical lab, including 1 year in supervisory role.
• Experience writing reports, procedures, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate internal and contract laboratory testing activities.
• Supervise, train, and support QC team members.
• Monitor sample shipments, testing deadlines, and final reports.
• Coordinate with clients, contract laboratories, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
