Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical seek a Chemical Lab Assistant for the Research and Development facility in Tomball, TX. This role supports laboratory operations by managing the sample lifecycle and ensuring accuracy of results.

Requirements include AS/BS degrees in Chemistry or related fields, with BS preferred. Pay is $17 per hour, schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. 6-month contract with potential extension and full benefits listed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• BS degree in Chemistry or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in academic or industry labs performing chemistry testing.
• Attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, logging, and labeling incoming samples.
• Distributing samples to labs for analysis.
• Preparing samples for laboratory analysis.
• Ensuring proper storage and disposal of samples.
• Maintaining compliance with lab quality and safety procedures.
