Job summary

Kelly is hiring a Scientific & Healthcare - Analytical Technician for a 12-month contract in Freeport, TX. You will support process chemistry development by conducting laboratory analyses, preparing samples, calibrating instruments, and reporting results.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience, wet chemistry or instrumental analysis, and familiarity with GC/LC instrumentation. This is not an entry-level position; candidates should be ready to contribute immediately.

Qualifications

• Completion of Vocational Education or Upper Secondary Education plus laboratory, manufacturing or related experience.
• Post Upper Secondary Education coursework in chemistry or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses.
• Collect samples according to the Sample Plan.
• Prepare basic calibration standards.
• Perform basic calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluates validity of data, applies basic statistics, interprets results and takes appropriate action.
• Monitors analytical systems, identifies problems, conducts first-line troubleshooting and escalates as appropriate.
