Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical in Longmont, CO is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician for a 6-month contract. Responsibilities include sample prep, QC testing, and documentation, with a focus on maintaining equipment and flexible, team-oriented workflows.

The position requires an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in science and GMP experience is preferred. Work is part-time, Monday–Friday, with a competitive pay rate of $25/hour.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field with hands-on lab experience.
• GMP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, organize, and prepare laboratory samples for testing or shipment, ensuring accurate chain of custody and recordkeeping.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and materials needed for daily laboratory workflows using established procedures.
• Conduct routine laboratory analyses, such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and capillary electrophoresis, following QC protocols.
• Complete thorough and accurate documentation in lab notebooks or provided forms for all work performed.
• Support equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and general lab readiness to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Communicate questions, issues, or irregularities promptly with lab leadership and adapt to shifting priorities and schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
