Cognizant is seeking a Scientific Informatics Lead to drive chemistry-focused ELN and data management across discovery and synthesis. You will partner with scientists and vendors to translate lab workflows into scalable platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ELN experience (Dotmatics or similar) and leads requirements, testing, and deployment from design to operation across regulated R&D settings.

Formación

• Experience with chemistry-focused ELN and scientific informatics platforms.
• Ability to translate chemistry workflows into functional specs.
• Strong knowledge of experiment/reaction capture and data traceability.
• Proven leadership beyond basic end-user support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead requirements discovery for chemistry experiments, reactions and inventory management.
• Translate workflows into user stories, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Provide senior oversight for ELN configuration, testing and deployment.
• Design workflows for experiment capture, stoichiometry and compound registration.
• Guide integrations with registration systems, inventory platforms and analytics.
• Support data governance, metadata management and reporting.
• Coordinate chemists, informatics teams, validation, security and vendors.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, release notes and documentation.
• Support platform modernization, migration and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure ELN supports R&D objectives.
