The Department of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track position in physical chemistry. We especially encourage research related to energy, environment, and sustainability.

The Penn Chemistry department, part of the School of Arts & Sciences, fosters collaboration across sub-fields including physical, biological, inorganic, and organic chemistry. Our campus in Philadelphia is a vibrant hub for interdisciplinary research, with strong ties to the Vagelos Institute for Energy Sciences and Technology, the Vagelos Integrated Program in Energy Research (VIPER), and the NSF-funded Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter.
