Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking a chemistry/biochemistry professional to provide and oversee analysis, administration and testing according to standard SOPs. You will interpret results, prepare documentation, and support management with policy guidance and program oversight.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in chemistry/biochemistry, strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team. The position is full-time and based in a lab environment in Huntersville, NC.

Qualifications

• Fundamental principles, practices and techniques of chemistry/biochemistry.
• Administration and oversight of chemistry/biochemistry programs, policies and procedures.
• Fundamental methods to resolve chemistry/biochemistry problems.
• Understanding applicable laws, codes and regulations in chemistry/biochemistry.
• Understanding standard testing tools and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials using analytical instrumentation.
• Reviews, analyzes and documents testing results and provides guidance to staff and management.
• Oversees or reviews standard chemistry/biochemistry forms, documents and databases.
• Calibrates equipment, prepares samples and maintains lab areas.
• Participates in cross-functional projects and budgets as required.
