FIVES LANDIS CORP – Gardner Abrasives in South Beloit, IL is seeking a Chemist to join the Quality Control team. You will perform testing on in-house blended materials, assist in formulation, and operate lab instruments such as XRF, FTIR, and Grindo-Sonic.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical science and 0–3 years of experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or physical science is required.
• 0–3 years of related laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing on in-house blended materials for consistency and adjust as needed.
• Assist in formulation of products and provide information to manufacturing team.
• Operate lab equipment (XRF, FTIR, Grindo‑Sonic) and maintain calibration.
• Support ISO 9001 and 14001 processes and maintain accurate test records.
• Maintain records and data of all tests and inspections.
