Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics Balazs Nanoanalysis in Taylor, TX seeks a Chemist I to join a contract analytical lab. You will develop methods, troubleshoot instruments, perform routine analyses, and ensure data quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 4–5 years experience OR
• MS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 0–2 years experience
• Safe laboratory practices and up-to-date trainings
• Proficient in computer tools such as LIMS, Pilgrim, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Perform Analyst III duties and assist in method development
• Repair instruments, troubleshoot and resolve analysis roadblocks
• Maintain instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance
• Prepare lab reagents and QA samples; support data interpretation
• Provide technical training and assist with client samples as needed
• Ensure data accuracy; review and report results
